WRF Development Teams & Working Groups
In the planning of the development of the WRF system
set up were five development teams, covering the areas of
Numerics and Software, Data Assimilation,
Analysis and Validation, Community Involvement, and
Operational Implementation. Each team coordinated efforts
from various working groups within its broad area of
WRF development. The chart below shows the
original teams and personnel. While the teams are
no longer active, a number of the working
groups still communicate and meet at the WRF Users' Workshop.
