WRFSI version 1.3.X and 2.0 can be obtained by downloading a self contained tar file to be installed and run on Linux and Unix operating systems. The tar file (28 MB uncompressed), contains:

To install the WRFSI software, see the
wrfsi/README.
To install the WRFSI GUI software, respond 'Yes' when prompted during the
installation of WRFSI.
To run the WRFSI GUI, use:
INSTALLROOT/wrf_tools
